Mission Statement:

The purpose of the our group is to build a community where we can:

* receive support in becoming experts (in skill as well as level) in our chosen professions

* receive support in developing our characters

* offer assistance to other members

* enjoy an active guild chat/voice

* Enjoy running quests, ground and air missions together

* engage in casual RP events (we do not enforce RP conventions such as OOC chat denotation)

Background: [MNETA] was started by friends and neighbors in the village of Moneta.  We seek to create a network of community members with various talents who can support one another in reaching personal and professional goals. To this end, [MNETA] does not affiliate itself with any one faction and we accept members from all professions.

Structure: The Moneta Community Network has adopted a matrix or project-based structure in order to capitalize on each member’s talents.  Our structure allows each member the opportunity to contribute to areas of interest as either a project leader or team member.  Current projects will be listed on the forums.  See the project leader to volunteer your services and become a team member of projects that interest you.  Project ideas should be submitted to Bahama and will be discussed at regular meetings.

As the director of the program, Bahama assumes responsibility for administration, human resources, policies, communication, project planning and implementation.

Senior specialists LongJie, Maisioh and Daenyathos are available to support project leaders and their teams in carrying out their duties, help improve team effectiveness and oversee various programs.

What we require of our members:

* Mature, respectful behavior—always!

* Account activity—accounts that are inactive for several weeks will be removed from the guild.

* Review period—The first two weeks of your membership will be considered a review period.  It’s a chance for us to get to know you and for you to get to know us.  At the end of that two week period the recruitment committee will review your membership and, if you are a good fit for our group, you will be granted full membership.  If the recruitment committee feels you are not a good fit, your membership will be revoked.  We do this to protect both you and our guild from the fallout that can occur from a mismatch.

* Avoidance of vulgarity - both in character name and chat.

* An active interest in investing time/energy for the benefit of the guild and it’s members

* Adherence to the Communication Guidelines (sent in a separate email & available on the forums)

* In the event some issue or difficulty arises between members that they can not amiably resolve, members are expected to immediately seek mediation from the director or a senior specialist.
